Baby Isako, known as Babi, is a British screenwriter. Baby was selected as a Ones To Watch for the 2022 Edinburgh Tv Festival and was also a finalist for the BBC Academy. She is best known as the showrunner—creator and head writer of the television  series Venus Vs Mars.

The series started as a web series on YouTube, attracting over a million views. It won two Screen Nation awards for Best Actress and the best Web series. 

 

Isako went on to write BET’S short film Rive. Bag Ladies a short film was screened at Festival de Cannes and was officially selected for the International Black Women Festival. Baby's first play, Love is a Losing Game, received great reviews and sold out 15 shows. Baby has worked with Netflix, SKY, BBC and Lime Pictures just to name a few.​ Baby also developed her first feature, Waved, with Idris Elba serving as a producer under his Green Door Productions.

Baby  is currently writing on Waterloo Road and  she also has  a few other projects in development.
